HR and Administrative Assistant (Bilingual Mandarin)

Job Summary - The Human Resources and Administration Clerk is responsible for providing HR and administrative clerical support to the business operation team. This position handles all HR and administrative related tasks, maintains up-to-date employee records, and provides general support to the office and warehouse administrations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties:
- Maintain employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Complete onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
- Collect employee files, such as applications, resumes, and other documents
- Assist recruiting with HRBP such as scheduling interviews and verifying references.
- Perform data entry and filing of all HR related documents
- Assist with HR projects, such as benefits processing and special events.
- Manage employee attendance records and vacation requests
- Answer phone calls, letters, and forward general e-mails to relevant departments or personnel.
- Procurement, storage and distribution of office supplies and machinery
- Completing, submitting, organizing and filing administrative related documents
- Office, warehouse work environment maintenance inspection and management
- Prepare and mail bills, invoices, checks and contracts
- Perform human resources or administrative related clerical tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Human Resources role preferred
- Knowledge of basic HR functions and concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
