About the Role:

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–7 years of experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, professional liability, or first/third-party property matters who is looking to develop a sophisticated specialty practice with strong mentorship and client access.

The role focuses heavily on litigation-related monitoring and insurance coverage analysis, while also offering exposure to broader counseling and strategic advisory work for domestic and international insurers.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring professional liability claims, lawsuits, and circumstances for insurer clients
• Analyzing policies and advising clients regarding coverage, exposure, and risk
• Preparing coverage analyses, client reports, and legal memoranda
• Evaluating pleadings, expert materials, and case developments to assess liability and damages
• Communicating directly with insurers, brokers, insureds, and defense counsel regarding claim strategy and developments
• Assisting with coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions
• Tracking reporting obligations, reserve considerations, and case developments
• Collaborating with partners on sophisticated insurance coverage and professional liability matters across multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 3–7 years of experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, professional liability, or related litigation practices
• Admission to the Georgia Bar (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
• Exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a desire to develop a long-term specialty practice
