About the Role:
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–7 years of experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, professional liability, or first/third-party property matters who is looking to develop a sophisticated specialty practice with strong mentorship and client access.
The role focuses heavily on litigation-related monitoring and insurance coverage analysis, while also offering exposure to broader counseling and strategic advisory work for domestic and international insurers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring professional liability claims, lawsuits, and circumstances for insurer clients
- Analyzing policies and advising clients regarding coverage, exposure, and risk
- Preparing coverage analyses, client reports, and legal memoranda
- Evaluating pleadings, expert materials, and case developments to assess liability and damages
- Communicating directly with insurers, brokers, insureds, and defense counsel regarding claim strategy and developments
- Assisting with coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions
- Tracking reporting obligations, reserve considerations, and case developments
- Collaborating with partners on sophisticated insurance coverage and professional liability matters across multiple jurisdictions
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 3–7 years of experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, professional liability, or related litigation practices
- Admission to the Georgia Bar (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
- Exceptional interpersonal and client communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a desire to develop a long-term specialty practice

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
