Job Description

The Production Assembler operates on a fast-paced assembly line within a modern manufacturing facility, assembling products to precise specifications while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role involves working with machinery and tools, performing repetitive tasks with accuracy, and collaborating closely with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly line tasks according to established procedures and supervisor instructions.
  • Operate and maintain assembly line machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble products accurately to ensure they meet required quality and performance standards.
  • Inspect assembled products for faults, defects, or nonconformities and take appropriate action.
  • Keep the assembly line area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Report equipment issues, process problems, or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Meet or exceed daily production targets and established deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with other assembly line team members to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge of assembly line processes and best practices.
  • Load product pieces onto the line for assembly and pack completed products into boxes for shipment or storage.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with production, manufacturing, or assembly environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, guidelines, and standard operating instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math and measurement skills to support accurate assembly and inspection.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly line work is preferred.
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly operations is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and team members.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and reporting issues on the line.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning new techniques or tools.

Work Environment

You will work inside a newer, modern manufacturing facility in the automotive sector. The environment centers around an assembly line with production and manufacturing equipment, where safety, organization, and cleanliness are priorities. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting. This position follows a B shift schedule from 4:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., providing a consistent second-shift work pattern.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38480.00 - $38480.00/yr.
