Role: Systems Integration Senior Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA , (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM Infosphere DataStage.
- Write and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and orchestration.
- Implement data pipelines and integrations with Snowflake (schema design, query optimization, transformation).
- Modernize legacy ETL workflows into cloud-native services (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain clear documentation for workflows, processes, and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 9 years of ETL development with proven expertise in IBM DataStage.
- 7 9 years of Strong proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.
- 7 years of experience Advanced SQL skills for complex data transformations and performance tuning.
- 7 years of experience Solid experience in data modeling (star/snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
- 7 years of experience Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SnowSQL, performance tuning, data sharing).
- 7 years of experience Cloud data engineering experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda) or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
- 7 years of Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD deployment processes.
Good To have Skills:
- Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Experience with Airflow or other workflow/orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud-native architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
