The Workforce Planning Senior Skills Consultant will be a part of the People Strategy & Insights Center of Excellence (COE) and will support the development of an enterprise-wide thorough strategic workforce skills planning methodology, framework & process (including the scoping of technology investments required). This role will also support in operationalizing and executing the strategic workforce skills planning methodology, framework & process, compiling and applying lessons learned to iteratively improve and standardize the process of skills planning across the Bank. This role will partner with key stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, HR Business Partners, HR COEs, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Real Estate) to translate Truist's enterprise, line of business (LOB) and function strategies into both short term and long-term skills planning that enables:
  • Data-driven decision making on how skills can support specific business strategies
  • Proactively anticipating talent investments with strategies to drive enterprise/LOB or function imperatives
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Responsible for strategic workforce skill plans including staffing plan, shared resource solutions, workforce efficiencies, and other workforce initiatives. Effectively translate complex strategies into tactical action plans for execution. 2. Responsible for measuring progress against strategic workforce plans and other workforce KPIs. Propose KPIs, set targets and benchmarks, establish recurring reports and provide insight into trends. Identify solutions for performance issues. 3. Lead workforce skill data analysis. Design reports, dashboards and tools that improve efficiency and provide skills insights. Act as a strategic change agent in the effort to establish a culture of data-driven decision-making. 4. Consult on execution of skills initiatives with data insights and process improvements. Implement opportunities to centralize and/or automate processes to gain efficiencies. 5. Represent strategic workforce skills planning son cross-function project teams. Influence strategic direction of projects and initiatives with workforce impacts. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent education or related training 2. 5+ years of experience in Workforce Planning/Analytics/Skills Programs & Planning 3. Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics 4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, modelling) 5. Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to tell a compelling story using data and analytics 6. Project management and process improvement experience Preferred Qualifications: 1. Advanced Business Degree (MBA, MS, MA, etc) 2. Experience with business intelligence visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Visier)
