Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer - III to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. This role involves working on a mission-critical application, enhancing existing systems, and contributing to digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based application development, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and microservices architecture. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence every Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Develop deliverables based on business enhancements.
• Enhance existing applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Contribute to digital transformation and modernize applications using new technologies.
• Work with complex systems using microservices architecture and large databases.
• Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple teams and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of application development and technology experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications.
• Expertise in creating Linux scripts and debugging production issues.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud environment and writing Oracle SQL queries.
• Experience with Tomcat and working in an Agile environment with CI/CD-driven development culture.
• Familiarity with cloud and DevOps tools such as GIT/Stash, Fortify, and Jenkins.
• Ability to partner with security, engineering, and platform/product support teams to ensure adherence to enterprise development standards.

Desired Skills:

• Working knowledge of Camel 3.
• Working knowledge of APIGEE.
• Working knowledge of JSON.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Pay Range: $65hr - $65hr on w2
