Position Overview

Client is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to provide application development and support for Java-based systems supporting the Local Services Division . This role involves full software development lifecycle activities, including design, development, testing, debugging, and documentation.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, eligible for transition to permanent (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holders only).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug secure and maintainable Java applications.

• Modify and install Java-based software systems and related applications.

• Analyze system issues independently or as part of a team and develop appropriate solutions.

• Develop documentation for programs, processes, and system architecture.

• Translate business requirements into technical tasks and functional solutions.

• Communicate effectively with business users regarding system issues or inquiries.

• Research, learn, and apply new technologies aligned with modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Technical Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, J2SE, J2EE.

  • Experience with frameworks such as Struts and Spring .

  • Web development expertise with Apache Tomcat , XML , XSL Stylesheets , and Web Services .

  • Experience working with Oracle databases and SSL certificates .

  • Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse , BIRT Reports , TOAD , SQL Developer , Azure DevOps , and Git .

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
