Your impact

We are seeking an Entry Level Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join our team to join our team in Tampa, FL; Gainesville, FL; or Atlanta, GA .

You’ll work with other scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Fieldwork will be balanced with time spent in the office working on data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, and generating reports.

Fieldwork responsibilities may include:

• Soil and water sampling
• Designing, performing, or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Technical report writing
• Participating in meetings with clients and regulators

• To be successful in the position, you will need to be able to travel to field sites 60-70% of the time and be willing to work in various weather conditions. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and participate in diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field.
• 0-2 years of experience within environmental consulting or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 60% - 70%
• Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office and data management software.
• United States Citizenship required
• Valid Driver’s license required

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Master’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related technical field.
• Professional Engineer or Geologist (P.E. or P.G.) license or ability to obtain and maintain.
• Ability to perform fieldwork and obtain/maintain 40-hr HAZWOPER certification.
• Maintain or on track to obtain or EIT

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $80,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
