Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED

• Manage patient care for common ED diagnoses such as Chest Pain, Strokes, Diabetes, Abdominal Pain, etc.
• Administer and manage IV drips including Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, and others
• Perform phlebotomy and nurse draws
• Provide care with PICC coverage within team settings
• Engage in telemetry monitoring with strip reading

Requirements of the RN - ED

• Active RN License (GA)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• TNCC preferred, not required
• Experience with EMR: EPIC, IV Pump: Alaris, Med dispensing: Omnicell
