Certified Pharmacy Technician
Schedule:
Primary: Night shift, 3:00 PM–12:30 AM , Monday–Friday
Rotation: Every other weekend, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Holidays: Required as scheduled (same hours as weekends)
Training: First 2 weeks , 9:00 AM–5:30 PM before transitioning to regular schedule
$19-$21/Hour Weekly Pay
Pharmacy Floor Technician
Summary:
The Pharmacy Floor Technician is responsible for accurately picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. This role ensures efficient medication processing while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision
Assist with processing, recycling, and disposing of returned medications per procedure
Prepack frequently ordered medications; label and store during low-volume periods
Manually package materials and products
Pull and pick medications from shelving and storage areas
Apply labels to blister cards and scan for accuracy
Notify the pharmacist of any product that does not scan properly
Maintain workstation cleanliness and replenish stock supplies
Adhere to all government regulations, including HIPAA
Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required
Follow departmental policies related to safety, attendance, and dress code
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work at a consistent, moderate pace
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Active and clear GA Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications
Previous pharmacy technician experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stoop intermittently throughout the day
May sit or stand for 7–10 hours per shift
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Finger dexterity for handling medication packaging and office equipment
Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to hear normal voice levels
Work environment characteristics align with typical pharmacy operations
