Bilingual Safety Coordinator
Ultimate Staffing is currently assisting a well-established client of ours in Gainesville, GA. The Bilingual (Spanish) Safety Coordinator is responsible for directing, coordinating, and administering safety programs to promote a safe work environment, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen the organization's safety culture. This position collaborates with leadership and employees at all levels to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Conduct daily facility walkthroughs across all departments to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Partner with supervisors and leadership to improve workplace safety, performance, and engagement
- Identify safety gaps and recommend solutions to improve accountability and awareness
- Deliver and coordinate safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers
- Perform incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Track and maintain safety records, including incident reports, OSHA logs, and training documentation
- Manage workers' compensation claims, including communication with adjusters and employees
- Analyze safety data, trends, and near-miss reports to recommend proactive improvements
- Conduct audits, inspections, and safety observations to identify risks and trends
- Communicate safety updates through toolbox talks, alerts, and meetings
- Enforce safety policies and address unsafe behaviors with professionalism
- Support employee engagement initiatives related to safety programs
- Monitor OSHA regulations and industry standards to maintain compliance
- Administer safety-related programs (uniforms, safety shoes, glasses, blood drives)
- Provide first aid and arrange medical transportation when needed
- Oversee access control, cameras, and timecard systems in collaboration with HR
- Support HR-related activities and events as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and documentation

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety-related role
- Experience in manufacturing environments required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to create presentations using data and analytics
- Experience maintaining safety documentation and reports
