Culinary Service Director

Job Summary: The Culinary Service Director (CSD) at Claiborne Senior Living, LLC is responsible for managing all aspects of the dining services department, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This is a salaried position that requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills. The CSD will oversee a team of dining service staff and work closely with other departments to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
• Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies, following budget guidelines
• Train, schedule, and supervise dining service staff to ensure efficient and professional service
• Maintain clean and sanitary dining areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Work closely with the Activities Director to plan and coordinate special events and themed meals
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address any concerns or suggestions
• Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the dining experience for residents
• Monitor and track resident satisfaction and address any issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to food service and sanitation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a food service setting, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment
• Proven track record of excellent customer service and effective team leadership
• Knowledge of nutritional guidelines for seniors and special dietary needs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within first 90 days of employment
