Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / Stepdown

Location: Thomasville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Compensation
- Weekly Pay Package: $1,700 – $1,900/week
Job Overview
Archbold Memorial Hospital is seeking experienced IMC/Stepdown Registered Nurses for a 13-week assignment in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate will have recent Critical Care or ICU experience and be comfortable managing telemetry patients and titrating critical drips in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC/Stepdown unit
- Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Administer and titrate critical drips as ordered
- Perform IV starts and lab draws/sample collection
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care
Schedule & Unit Details
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12 Schedule
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- 13-week assignment with possible extension
- Orientation: 16 Hours
Requirements
Required:
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year recent Critical Care and ICU experience
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring experience
- IV Start and Lab Draw experience
- Experience titrating critical drips
Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Stepdown/Telemetry experience
