**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare location's needs.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
+ Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, to Allied Universal management and/or designated client representatives.
+ Support access control measures at designated entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
+ Assist with the implementation of emergency response plans, including evacuations and/or drills, as directed by site leadership.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors within the healthcare location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
