Registered Nurse, PCU – Atlanta, GA. This travel assignment starts 07/06/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn $2,314 to $2,364 per week with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Shift is Night on a 2x4 schedule. Work in a hospital-based medical step-down unit serving adults with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and respiratory compromise.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in the PCU/medical step-down unit, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and timely documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, monitor for adverse effects, and adjust care plans per physician orders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, CKD, substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy.
- Perform frequent patient assessments, interpret vital signs and lab results, respond to changes, and escalate per protocols.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs; coordinate transitions to appropriate levels of care.

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in the state of Georgia (or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in PCU/medical step-down
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x4 schedule
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
