Materials Analyst II (West Point)
Material Analyst
West Point, GA | Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer | Direct Hire
Venteon is seeking a Material Analyst with at least 3 years of materials planning/analysis experience to join a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer near West Point, GA. Automotive and JIT environment experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and align material availability with production schedules using ERP/MRP systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers to track orders, manage material requirements, and resolve delivery issues.
- Analyze demand and production data to forecast material needs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce inventory costs and improve material flow.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within a lean/JIT environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of materials analysis/planning experience.
- ERP/MRP system experience required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
