Position OverviewNANA Healthcare is seeking a General Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our expanding team in Dunwoody, GA. This provider will work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan, with a strong focus on adult mental health, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, inpatient management, and outpatient awareness .
Experience in inpatient services is highly preferred, as we continue to expand specialized programming in this area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Manage inpatient psychiatric care and coordinate transitions across care settings
- Maintain awareness of outpatient needs and continuity of care
- Supervise nurse practitioners and provide clinical guidance as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, dietitians, nursing staff, etc.)
- Provide care across varying levels of acuity (inpatient, PHP, IOP, or outpatient as applicable)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible for Georgia medical license
- Experience treating adult populations and substance use disorders required
- Experience with eating disorders strongly preferred
- Experience in inpatient management and outpatient awareness a plus
- Ability to work with adolescents and/or broader age ranges is a plus
- Salary: $300k+
(Negotiable based on experience and qualifications) - Flexible scheduling options available
