Job Description: 
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial HVAC Estimation:
* Prepare accurate estimates for commercial HVAC new construction, renovation, and design-build projects.
* Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals.
* Manage estimating activities from initial review through final proposal submission.

Blueprint Review & Takeoffs
Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs for:
* HVAC systems
* Ductwork
* Sheet metal
* Hydronic piping
* Commercial plumbing systems
* Calculate quantities, labor requirements, and projected project costs.

Proposal Development:
* Prepare, review, and submit detailed project proposals and pre-bid estimates.
* Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure pricing accuracy.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:
* Review supplier and subcontractor quotes.
* Perform competitive bid comparisons to support accurate project pricing.

Estimating Software:
* Utilize electronic estimating and project management tools, including:
* Bluebeam
* AutoCAD
* Buildertrend
* Similar digital takeoff platforms

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
* Proven experience estimating commercial HVAC new construction and renovation projects.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including ductwork, sheet metal, and hydronic piping.
* Ability to interpret architectural and mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
* Hands-on experience with electronic takeoff software and estimating platforms.
* Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
* Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
* Extensive experience estimating complex commercial mechanical systems.
* Strong background with large-scale commercial construction projects.
