Job Description:
As a lawn care technician, you will provide detail-oriented, customer-focused lawn care services. Our lawn care technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors. You will perform spray applications to enhance the health, appearance, and longevity of lawns. You will treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products, apply fertilizers, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong work ethic, wants to make an impact on the health of lawns, and the ability to work independently with little direct supervision out in the field.

Responsibilities :

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to lawns or Ornamental Plantings based on customer needs and company protocols.
• Assess lawn and plant conditions and provide feedback to clients on lawn care needs.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with clients during on-site visits.
• Operate spraying equipment effectively and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and care for spray equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of scheduled services.
• Educate clients on the benefits of core aeration and other lawn care practices.
• Assist with other lawn care tasks as needed.

The ideal Lawn Care Technician candidate will have a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, experience operating machinery, reliable transportation to work, and a good attendance record.

Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable, but must-haves are:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to meet production goals
• Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
