Instructional aides play a vital role in supporting students academic, social, and behavioral growth within classroom settings. These per diem, as-needed roles offer compassionate professionals the chance to make a meaningful difference by working one-on-one or with small groups of students, assisting teachers and staff in providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support to students in 1:1 or small group formats
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as directed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Completion of a TB test per district requirements
• Current clearances to work in schools or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school environments, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• Training or certifications such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-focused approach
