Global Logistics & Compliance Manager

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a transportation and logistics company as a Global Logistics and Compliance Manager .

As the Global Logistics and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for filing all import and export shipments as well as compliance of those shipments. You will also handle day-to-day duties related to air, ocean, and port drayage shipments. This role also manages compliance activities related to international traffic and coordinates activities of import-export traffic to ensure all required legal documents, filings, and reports are completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist team with filing AES, AMS, ISF and other filings to ensure compliance of ocean & air shipments.
• Assist team with FTZ filings, regulations, etc. as needed to ensure compliance.
• Review & approve all International Invoicing to ensure all revenue is booked timely and accurately.
• Audit bond spreadsheet to ensure everything is closed out properly and within appropriate timeframe to avoid going to “general order”.
• Audit CFS log to ensure that all shipments that go through our CFS are in compliance and are back out within 15 days of arrival.
• Ensure all International vendor contracts are valid, current, have correct pricing and have been signed by the President as needed.
• Assist with onboarding new clients to ensure seamless operations and compliance with all necessary paperwork.
• Serves as a backup to maintain OTI & NVOCC licenses

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Import & Export experience (air and ocean preferred)
• 3 years of OTI/NVOCC work as required for licenses
• 5-10 years of office experience
• FTZ knowledge a plus
• High level MS Office proficiency
• High School Diploma or GED
