Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, GA — situated in the heart of one of the Southeast's most dynamic legal markets with outstanding access to state and federal courts.

Note: Candidates must hold an active J.D. from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the Georgia Bar — or meet Georgia's requirements for Admission on Motion without Examination. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on insurance coverage and civil litigation experience is required to be considered.

Job Description

• Manage all phases of insurance coverage and civil litigation, from case initiation through trial and appellate proceedings
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery documents, and coverage opinion letters with precision and strategic clarity
• Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations independently and alongside senior attorneys
• Perform in-depth legal research and deliver strategic analysis on complex first-party insurance coverage issues
• Represent insurance company clients in Georgia state and federal courts on matters including fire, water, hurricane, business interruption, and declaratory judgment actions
• Collaborate directly with partners and senior attorneys on high-value, sophisticated litigation files
• Manage multiple active matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional client communication
• Support trial preparation and participate in trial and post-trial proceedings

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing, or eligibility for Admission on Motion without Examination
• 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage and civil litigation
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume docket
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving instincts
• Genuine commitment to professional development and trial practice
