Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director or Vice President of Operations to lead their Southeast territory . This key executive will oversee a team of 8+ operational leaders and will be accountable for the seamless execution of kitchen and bath installations—including cabinets, countertops, flooring, and hardware—across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has a proven background in turnkey project execution and a passion for leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Leadership:
Lead all operations across the Southeast region, ensuring exceptional execution of projects from order to install.Project Oversight:
Ensure all projects are completed on time, on budget, and with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction .Team Development:
Coach and lead 8+ department leaders across installation, logistics, scheduling, and service teams. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.Operational Strategy:
Develop and execute scalable processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across departments.Client Relationship Management:
Serve as a key contact for large builder clients in the region. Ensure consistent communication and service that meets or exceeds expectations.Budget and KPI Management:
Own the regional P&L. Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in productivity, cost control, and customer experience.Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives in process optimization, safety programs, and quality assurance to ensure best-in-class performance.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
10+ years of progressive leadership experience , including a strong track record overseeing turnkey kitchen and bath installations (cabinets, countertops, flooring, and hardware).Leadership:
Proven ability to lead large, multi-market teams with strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills.Operational Acumen:
Deep understanding of project-based operations, including scheduling, field management, installation logistics, and service.Safety & Quality Focused:
Strong knowledge of job site safety standards and a commitment to high-quality, timely project delivery.Builder/Construction Industry Experience:
Background in new home construction or building materials industries preferred. Experience interfacing with builders is a plus.Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency with operations software, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making tools.
