This opportunity is designed for an attorney with significant experience advising complex governmental or institutional operations, managing sensitive legal matters, and leading senior-level legal staff across multiple functional areas.

The individual selected will serve as a strategic legal advisor supporting executive leadership, operational divisions, oversight bodies, and affiliated entities on a broad range of regulatory, litigation, transactional, and policy-related matters.

Key Areas of Oversight Include:

• Directing workflow and legal priorities within an assigned practice group

• Leading and mentoring experienced legal professionals and coordinating external counsel relationships

• Managing high-exposure disputes, regulatory concerns, and operational risk matters

• Advising leadership teams on governance, compliance, procedural interpretation, and organizational liability

• Drafting and negotiating complex agreements, policy frameworks, operational directives, and institutional resolutions

• Providing strategic guidance involving development initiatives, procurement structures, land-related matters, and public-facing projects

• Representing organizational interests in administrative proceedings and litigation matters at multiple court levels

• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments impacting organizational operations and advising stakeholders accordingly

• Participating in executive meetings, strategic planning discussions, and internal training initiatives as needed

Background Profile:

• Juris Doctor required

• Extensive legal practice experience with prior leadership responsibility xrczosw overseeing attorneys or legal teams

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law within the State of Georgia

• Strong background navigating high-accountability environments with multiple stakeholders and evolving operational priorities

Preferred Exposure:

• Public sector, municipal, quasi-governmental, or institutional advisory experience

• Familiarity with transactional, property-related, development, governance, infrastructure, finance, procurement, or technology-related legal work

• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and issue-management capabilities

• Experience appearing before appellate or federal venues considered a plus
