Travel Respiratory Therapist Job

TLC Healthforce
Cumming, GA
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Travel Respiratory Therapist, where your expertise in respiratory care becomes a powerful catalyst for healing across diverse clinical environments. In this specialty-driven role, you’ll lead and optimize therapy plans, manage ventilator support, assess patient progress, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied teams to elevate outcomes for patients across a spectrum of acuity. This opportunity is more than just a contract—it’s a deliberate path to deepen clinical mastery, expand your professional network, and experience the enriching culture of mobility and growth that helps you stand out in a competitive field. As you step into this role, you’ll be encouraged to envision the impact you can make, one patient at a time, while savoring the beauty, history, and rhythm of Georgia and the many places you’ll encounter on the journey.

Georgia is a tapestry of experiences that invites exploration. In addition to the warm welcome of Cumming’s tight-knit communities, you’ll enjoy easy access to the Blue Ridge Mountains for weekend retreats, the vibrant arts and dining scenes of Atlanta, and the historic charm of Savannah and coastal towns within a few hours’ drive. Georgia’s landscapes—from rolling foothills to sprawling rivers and coastlines—provide a backdrop for balance between purpose-driven work and memorable downtime. Separately, the state’s outdoor spaces, sporting events, museums, and family-friendly venues offer enriching opportunities to unwind and recharge after fulfilling shifts. This is a place where professional aims merge with personal discovery, and where your work can be complemented by the many scenic or urban escapes Georgia affords.

Location Benefits: Based in the welcoming town of Cumming, GA, you’ll experience a community that values healthcare, teamwork, and professional growth. You’ll work among skilled colleagues, access to advanced clinical settings, and the support you need to perform at your best. For those who crave variety, there’s also the opportunity to work in multiple locations across the U.S.—expanding your clinical perspectives, exposing you to different patient populations, and strengthening your adaptability in dynamic care environments. Enjoy the benefits of a predictable 36-hour weekly schedule, with consistent compensation and the chance to explore new neighborhoods, parks, and activities during time off. Flexible rotation options, networking with experienced travel professionals, and exposure to a wide range of hospital systems all contribute to a robust, career-enhancing experience. The Start Date for this assignment is 03/09/2026, and the position is described as lasting weeks, designed to deliver sustained clinical impact while preserving work-life balance.

Role Specifics and Benefits: Your primary responsibilities will center on delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients across critical and general care units. You’ll perform and supervise inhaled medication administration, airway clearance therapies, noninvasive ventilation, and mechanical ventilation management under physician direction. You’ll assess respiratory status, interpret arterial blood gases, monitor ventilator parameters, and adjust therapy plans in partnership with the care team. Documentation in electronic medical records, quality improvement participation, and adherence to safety protocols are integral to every shift. There’s ample room for professional growth—whether you’re pursuing advanced certifications, expanding into pulmonary rehab, or taking on mentorship roles with newer therapists. The role is designed to support development within the Respiratory Therapist specialty, fostering confidence and clinical judgment in high-stakes settings.

Benefits are designed to attract, reward, and support you throughout your travel journey. You’ll receive competitive weekly pay in the range of $1,481-$1,530, with guaranteed hours at 36 per week. The package typically includes housing assistance or stipends to ease relocation, comprehensive health coverage options, and a life balance that helps you sustain peak performance. You’ll be eligible for performance bonuses and extension opportunities—contracts that align with your career plans and preferred locations. A dedicated support team is available 24/7 while you’re traveling with the company, ensuring you’re never alone when you face a clinical question, a scheduling change, or a housing concern. In addition, you’ll have access to continuing education resources, on-site training opportunities, and cross-site collaboration that broadens your clinical toolkit and strengthens your resume for future leadership roles.

Company Values: Our organization is committed to empowering respiratory care professionals by prioritizing career advancement, mentorship, and a supportive, inclusive work environment. We believe in recognizing your expertise, investing in your professional development, and honoring work-life harmony as essential to sustained excellence. You’ll join colleagues who value integrity, collaboration, and patient-centered care, where your voice is heard, and your contributions drive meaningful outcomes. The culture emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous learning, ensuring you have the resources, respect, and opportunities to elevate your practice while building lasting professional relationships.

Call to Action: If you’re ready to shape the future of respiratory care through meaningful travel assignments, this is your moment. Apply today to join a team that prioritizes your development, respects your expertise, and supports you every step of the way. Embrace the chance to work in a variety of settings, advance your clinical skills, and enjoy the benefits of a rewarding, stability-rich travel role in a supportive organization that values your unique contributions.
