Note: This is upcoming Requirement under SOR # DCH-240306-01-CAI ServiceNow Staff Augmentation.
Georgia Department of Community Health is seeking Service of a ServiceNow Developer. This is 100% Remote Assignment. The engagement for the requisition will be thru June 30th, 2025 with possibility of extension based on performance.
Remote: Monday to Friday - 8:00 to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, forms, and UI components using ServiceNow development tools and technologies.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and applications using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and define project scope and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues and optimize system performance.
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, components, and capabilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
- Proven capabilities configuring / developing APIs and ServiceNow Automations
- Experience with ServiceNow development tools and technologies, including Studio, Workflow Editor, and Script Editor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Project History The Enterprise Support Services team (ESS) within the Georgia Department of Community Health Office of Information Technology provides enterprise IT configuration, development and support services utilized by DCH and its contractors along with the State Agencies, Local Governments, and the General Public. The ESS team is responsible for the development, deployment, and support of the DCH IT enterprise. ESS has selected the ServiceNow application suite to serve as the foundation for its service delivery framework. ESS is currently partnering with business system owners to configure, test and deploy ServiceNow capabilities.
Business Need DCH needs to supplement their existing implementation and support teams to take on additional scope associated with deploying the ServiceNow capabilities. The service management platform is planned to be deployed in multiple phases in alignment with the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) enterprise roadmap.
