We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in dermatology. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and administer various dermatological procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to evaluate dermatological conditions.

• Perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, specimen collection, cryotherapy, excisions, and injections and skin biopsies.

• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems EMA for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Provide education to patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care measures.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.

Experience
Candidates should possess a diverse range of experiences that may include:

• Medical office experience with a focus on dermatology or related fields.
• Current unrestricted GEORGIA NP , Registered Nursing License &.DEA
• Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding systems, and medical documentation practices.
• Experience administering injections, IV infusions, and performing venipuncture.
• 3+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
• The Nurse Practitioner will assesses, diagnoses, treats, and manages a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, both acute and chronic.
• Responsible for timely completion of documentation in patient records.
• possess strong clinical skills, a passion for dermatology.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in dermatology research, treatment modalities, and clinical guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
