Speech Language Pathologist – Speech Language Pathologist specialty, based in Cumming, Georgia, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,878–$1,980 and guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift type is 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week, in a hospital-based setting providing outpatient rehab services. Note: no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and treatment planning for adults in outpatient rehab services
- Administer standardized assessments, interpret results, and develop individualized therapy plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
- Provide direct therapy, document patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and care coordinators; participate in care planning and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (Medicare, Medicaid, and other government guidelines) and maintain accurate medical records
- Maintain patient safety and follow American Heart Association BLS guidelines; educate patients and families on communication strategies and prognosis

Requirements
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the specialty
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience working with adults in a medical setting is preferred; strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and related regulations
- Ability to work in a hospital-based outpatient setting
