Key Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enginetesting and operability in on-sitetestcells.
Develop, maintain, and improve tools and processes for evaluating and post-processingtestdata.
Lead the development and execution of propulsion systemtestplans, including sea-level static and altitude-simulatedtests.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers during integration and flighttesting, including troubleshooting and on-site support.
Design and modifytestcomponents, fixtures, flow benches, and related infrastructure.
Guide best practices throughTestConcept Reviews (TCR) andTestReadiness Reviews (TRR).
SupportEngineering Leadership in defining the companys Technology Roadmap for propulsiontesting capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or relatedEngineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
7+ years of gas turbine industry experience, with 5+ years intestenvironments.
Expertise in instrumentation and measurement techniques for turbomachinerytesting.
Strong knowledge of turbomachinery physics, operation, and failure modes.
Familiarity with Turbine Engine Control Units (ECUs), FADEC systems, and related communication protocols.
Proficiency with drafting best practices (GD&T, ASME standards).
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proven leadership in propulsiontesting processes.
Energetic and collaborative team player with a passion for solving high-impact challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with defense industry standards and MIL-STD compliance.
Familiarity with CAN Aerospace communication protocols.
Experience working with aviation fuels (Jet A, JP-8, JP-10) and hazardous operations.
Background in electrical systems design and operation fortesting infrastructure and engine components.
