Job Title: Worship Leader and/or Children/Family Pastor

Summary : We are currently seeking to fill this position in our staff with either a full-time Worship leader and Children/Family Pastor or by filling with two bivocational, part-time positions. One serving as a Worship Leader and the other as a Children’s and Family Pastor As the Minister of Music and Children/Family Ministry you will be responsible for leading our church’s music and media ministries as well as working with our children and their families. This role involves working in conjunction with our Senior Pastor, staff, volunteers and the congregation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship Leader: •
  • Recruit, train, and lead music volunteers in our choir/praise team.
  • Ability to lead a multi-generational congregation with a mix of hymns, psalms, and contemporary music.
  • Develop and implement worship-related events or special services (e.g. holiday services and family worship nights).
  • Complete the order of worship for Sunday worship services. Coordinate and manage audio, video and lighting for church events and services, working alongside our audio/visual teams.
  • Direct music programs and media initiatives, including social media and online outreach.
  • Oversee our church website and social networking platforms.
  • Prepare and administer the music and media budget.
• Children/Family Ministry: •
  • Children (Nursery-6th Grade) Plan, choose and implement age-appropriate Sunday School curriculum, Wednesday Night Kid’s program and special events (e.g. VBS, Fall Festival and outreach programs).
    • Work alongside our children ministry volunteers, including VBS Director and children’s committees.
    • Engage the children in learning about Jesus and help them to grow in their relationship with Christ.
  • Family Ministry
    • Communicate and engage the families of not only our church but also families in our community, to foster spiritual growth and strengthen family bonds.

Education : •

• Seminary Training preferred

• Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills.
• Mature, dependable, and highly motivated.
• A heart for mentoring and discipling young people and strengthening families to the glory of God.
• Team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
