Staff Accountant

SUMMARY:

The Staff Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data for the Armstrong - Atlanta/Doraville agency. The Staff Accountant is responsible for agency-level accounting functions including but not limited to general accounting payables & receivables financial reporting spend analysis material & labor variance analysis billing & invoicing and forecasting.

Note: This is an on-site position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial responsibilities include General Ledgers Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Billing and Invoicing Revenue Distribution and Financial Reporting.
• Ensure all defined work is performed within the timeframes allotted for each functional financial process.
• Ensure all billing functions including invoicing revenue distribution and rating are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial policies practices procedures and initiatives at the Plant level.
• Manage all accounting bookkeeping and financial matters.
• Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in either accounting or finance required.
• Experience with NetSuite QuickBooks Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word) required.
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask prioritize and organize efficiently
