Work Environment: Onsite

Job Description:
A well-established litigation firm is seeking a highly organized and motivated Paralegal Assistant to join its team. This role is 100% onsite, offering strong mentorship, training, and growth potential within a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the legal field while gaining hands-on experience supporting experienced paralegals.
Key Responsibilities
You will support paralegals in a variety of litigation-related tasks, including:
- Maintaining case files, document control, and filing systems
- Assisting with document productions and database management
- Preparing and organizing legal documents, binders, and correspondence
- Coordinating mailings and court filings
- Assembling witness files and preparing materials for depositions and hearings
- Supporting trial preparation and pretrial documentation
- Performing cite-checking for legal briefs
- Traveling to courthouses to file or obtain documents
- Indexing and organizing files for offsite storage
- Assisting with additional administrative and legal tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Paralegal certificate preferred (not required)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a reliable vehicle for courthouse-related responsibilities
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
