Job Title: Medical Receptionist/Patient Service Representative - Per diem (As needed basis)
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022
Shift: Days - flexible hours

Position Overview:
Seeking a Medical Receptionist /Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our clinical team. The PSR will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered experience. This individual will support both staff and patients by answering calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing patient accounts, and assisting with treatment plans. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who is eager to grow in the dental field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, acknowledge, and check in/out patients with professionalism and empathy.

• Respond to patient questions and concerns in alignment.

• Answer telephones, confirm appointments, and manage the office appointment book.

• Follow up on cancellations and no-show patients to keep schedules optimized.

• Assist patients with treatment plans, including discussing financial arrangements.

• Post patient charges and payments accurately into the system.

• Maintain voicemail, reception, and waiting areas in a clean and welcoming manner.

• Provide general administrative support to staff and the Office Manager.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Experience answering telephones in a professional setting.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in dental, medical, or other healthcare office.

• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
