As a lifelong Athens resident and University of Georgia graduate, I take great pride in helping individuals and families protect what matters most. My journey began working in my fathers State Farm agency, where I learned firsthand the importance of building strong relationships with customers. Before opening my own agency in 2012, I spent time in home building and real estate development, focusing on sustainable practices. Now, Im fortunate to lead a team dedicated to personalized service, community involvement, and making a real impact. Our agency proudly supports the Athens Farmers Market, Rotary Club, and the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in sales conversations with prospective and existing clients, identifying opportunities to offer insurance solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on client needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
