$100,000–$120,000 + Bonus + Vehicle + Commission

An established mechanical contractor is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager with direct experience in industrial and heavy commercial environments. This role manages complex mechanical installations including process piping, utility systems, and HVAC infrastructure within operational plants and large-scale facilities. The position requires technical fluency in fabrication methods, welding procedures, equipment setting, and start-up integration tied to active industrial operations.

The focus is disciplined execution across multiple active job sites, with responsibility for cost control, schedule performance, documentation management, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical projects from estimating and pre-construction through installation and turnover
• Manage process piping, utility piping, and HVAC system installations in industrial, commercial, and institutional environments
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and shop fabrication activities to maintain schedule and production targets
• Oversee cost tracking, budget management, change orders, and project documentation
• Interpret and manage P&IDs, isometric drawings, equipment submittals, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASME, and applicable local codes and standards
• Interface daily with plant personnel, field supervision, and engineering teams to maintain operational continuity and quality control
• Support commissioning and system start-up activities within live production environments

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Minimum five years of progressive project management experience in industrial mechanical HVAC or piping projects, including plant retrofits and new construction
• Demonstrated experience in commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or industrial project environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent job sites and complex field coordination
• Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, or comparable project management platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred; relevant industry experience strongly considered
