  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field (Business, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Technical).
  • Experience with improving and scaling customer support through technology and operational initiatives.
  • Experience with managing technology and analytics programs, particularly related to applications of AI.
  • Experience implementing strategic and large-scale initiatives in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment that needs a high degree of deadline-driven productivity.
  • Superb problem-solving skills with experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • High proficiency with structuring and conducting strategic analysis and messaging using spreadsheets and presentations.

About The Job

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be part of a team providing deep project leadership to solve strategic questions in the gTech organization. This role will require you to develop solutions to complex, ambiguous, and high-visibility business problems and opportunities.

You will work in close partnership with gTech teams and Strategy and Operations colleagues. You’re a collaborative, data-driven, and analytical problem solver who is able to effectively lead and manage multiple workstreams, projects, and stakeholders across time zones on a global scale. You will be working with key partners across gTech to lead and support a mix of strategic and operational projects. You will also support the development of plans and recommendations for global and regional projects.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Structure and package your work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including senior executives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting senior leaders on key strategic initiatives and building operational accuracy - helping chart out and fulfill big bets for the business in line with leadership’s strategic vision.
  • Problem solve with senior leaders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations based on business analyses to drive projects and initiatives forward.
  • Project manage major strategic initiatives across multiple gTech teams and proactively engage Google-wide stakeholders when needed (e.g., projects that cross Product, Sales, Marketing, and Policy).
  • Launch and land organizational change management plans for mid- to long-term transformational initiatives.
