JOB DESCRIPTIONSterile Processing Technician About Facility:
o 637 licensed beds
o Level 1 Trauma Designation
o Teaching Hospital
o Chest Pain Center
o Stroke Center
Department Information:
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 3-4 years
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS
o CRST or CBSPD is required
Skills required:
o Completion of an accredited program for Sterile Processing Tech
Support within the Department:
o OR Director and AVP for Surgical Services to include Sterile Processing
Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: CensiTrac
Floating: If yes, where?
o No
Orientation (facility and unit):
o NEO
o 2 days departmental
Other notes:
o Scrub Color: Surgical Green- scrubs are issued
o Parking: Free? There is free parking around hospital and paid parking in parking decks
o Department Culture: Teamwork oriented, We work as one team, Collaborative Shift

11p-7a monday through friday night Clinical Interviewing- Yes/No
No On Call, Call Back Requirements
