Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 educational setting in Columbus, GA. This contract position spans the school year and is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting student communication development across a diverse range of age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and provide reports on improvement.
- Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology in schools.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school-based settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting school-age children.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with a focus on student-centered care.
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed records efficiently.
