Remote Video Recorder for AI Training
Record synchronized smartphone video of everyday household tasks to produce high-quality training data that helps improve next-generation AI systems. This remote, contract role focuses on precise, protocol-driven video capture and sensor validation, contributing a consistent weekly volume of approved footage.
Key Responsibilities- Capture household tasks on video using a compatible smartphone during physical task sessions.
- Record synchronized video footage to validate and enhance the integrity of collected sensor data.
- Use approved head-mounted mounting to record both hands when required, with head strap access available within 48 hours of the start date.
- Follow detailed technical protocols to meet strict quality, labeling, and determinism standards.
- Consistently deliver a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week throughout the project duration.
- Participate in device compatibility checks and a custom AI-enabled interview as part of onboarding and quality assurance.
- Communicate clearly with the project team to clarify guidelines, report issues, and provide feedback on data collection processes.
- Ensure timely and reliable delivery of required data outputs to meet project milestones.
- Access to a compatible smartphone capable of high-fidelity sensor and video data collection. Supported devices include iPhone 12 and later, Google Pixel 6 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S21 and later.
- Access to a head strap so both hands can be recorded, available within 48 hours of the start date.
- Experience recording smartphone video, attention to detail, and comfort performing household tasks for capture.
- Proven ability to follow standardized protocols and technical instructions accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
- High digital literacy and familiarity with mobile devices.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely and accurately.
- Remote role, applicants must be based in one of the following U.S. states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
- Project-based contract work, with engagement length and available hours that fluctuate according to client needs.
- There is no guaranteed minimum project duration and no guaranteed minimum weekly hours, beyond the project requirement to contribute a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week while the project is active.
- Required to complete device compatibility checks and a custom AI-enabled interview during selection and onboarding.
- Listed hourly range: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
- Primary compensation model is output-based, experts are paid per recorded video that meets project specifications.
- Time to complete assigned work may vary based on each expert’s experience and workflow.
- Must be legally eligible to work in one of the designated U.S. states listed under Work Terms.
- Access to a compatible smartphone and the ability to provide required video and sensor data are mandatory.
- Applications submitted with a Gmail address are strongly preferred for smoother tool integration.
- Selection includes device compatibility checks and an AI-enabled interview to confirm technical readiness.
- Roles are typically filled quickly, often within 48 hours, so prompt availability is important.
- If selected, you should be prepared to complete onboarding and start your first task as soon as you proceed with your application, typically within approximately 24 hours of finishing onboarding.
