Cocktail Bartender at Blackjack - An Elevated Cocktail Experience:

Blackjack, an exciting new cocktail bar opening in Midtown Atlanta, is seeking skilled and passionate bartenders to join our team. Located at the corner of 12th and Crescent, Blackjack offers an elevated cocktail experience, featuring South Asian-inspired tapas and a thoughtfully curated décor. We’re looking for talented bartenders who thrive in a professional environment and are eager to be part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Master all house cocktail recipes and core classic cocktails, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily bar prep, following recipes and program standards.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar in line with program standards.
• Work closely with teammates to enhance guest interactions, creating a positive and cohesive environment.
• Effectively prioritize multiple tasks and communicate openly with managers and colleagues about any issues or concerns.
• Arrive on time, dressed in uniform, with a positive, “ready-to-go” attitude.

Our Ideal Bartender:

• Has a deep passion for food and beverage, with solid knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, and a drive to continually expand their knowledge.
• Possesses hands-on experience with bar prep and general cooking techniques and is comfortable working behind a busy bar.
• Has a kind, friendly, and approachable demeanor, always eager to serve and collaborate with the team.
• Works constructively with colleagues, celebrates each other’s successes, and is always ready to help when needed.
• Embodies our core values of integrity, passion, respect, and a constant thirst for knowledge.
• Has 3+ years of experience working with sophisticated cocktail programs.

Requirements:

• Availability on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is required; open availability is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant bartending experience.
• Ability to lift heavier products and stand for long periods of time; occasional kneeling, bending, or crouching is required.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with poise and effectiveness.
