Cable Technician 1

We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to support data center buildouts. This entry-level role involves installing and maintaining structured cabling systems both inside and outside facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber)
• Perform cable terminations, including punchdowns and rack connections
• Build and install network closets (racks, patch panels, backboards, fiber hardware)
• Install cable trays, wireways, conduit, and related infrastructure
• Conduct rack and stack of network equipment
• Pull cable and assist with conduit installation
• Follow blueprints and technical diagrams for installations
• Maintain proper grounding for racks and cabling systems

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6)
• Familiarity with punchdown and termination techniques
• Understanding of fiber optics (preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
• Knowledge of communication color codes

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools (drills, cutters, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Team-oriented and dependable

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Social Circle, GA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
