Legal Assistant- Workers Compensation
A law firm in the Alpharetta area is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Defense Legal Assistant to support busy attorneys in a fast-paced practice. This is a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and scheduling
- Open and maintain case files
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Handle medical records, correspondence, and case-related documents
- Assist with billing and time entry
Qualifications
- Prior legal assistant experience required
- Workers’ compensation defense experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
