Accounts Receivable Manager
Summary :
The AR Manager oversees the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records. This includes managing invoicing and collections, as well as resolving billing discrepancies and overseeing the team responsible for these tasks.
Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Train and manage AR staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance
- Manage the auditing and posting of rental car revenue, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage entire invoicing process including invoice setup and posting of payments utilizing the accounting platform Sage-Intacct
- Manage month end process including reconciling balances to the general ledger, preparing month end reports, and preparing general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
- Field questions from operations on AR matters
- Manage chargebacks, including setup and response
- Identify areas for improvement in the AR process and implement new procedures to streamline operations
- Assist management with special projects
Qualifications :
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or Management
- 2-5 years recent experience in Accounts Receivable, credit control/debt collections
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience with Sage/Intacct a plus
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
