Server

We are looking for motivated Servers who can efficiently complete tasks like taking orders, answering menu questions, serving food to customers, handling payment transactions, and clearing tables. A high level of interpersonal skills and a strong interest in customer satisfaction is ideal.

To be successful, you must maintain a friendly demeanor while working under time pressure and handling several tables at once in a fast-paced environment. The ideal server can deliver a positive dining experience to all customers, providing service that maintains current customers and helps create new customers through word of mouth.

Responsibilities:

• Guide guests through menus while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages, recipes, and ingredients.
• Take accurate orders, enters them into the POS system, and partner with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations.
• Take immediate action to correct any issues and notify the appropriate supervisor.
• Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet all requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Responsibly serves alcohol and remains aware of guest's state of intoxication.
• Prepare checks, present them to the guest, and process cash or card payments.
• Satisfy any/all needs of the guests - regularly double-checking back with guests throughout their experience.
• Maintain a clean & organized station including pre-bussing & table maintenance.
• Perform opening and closing & side duties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all table numbers.
• Direct guests to areas & restrooms.
• Create memorable experiences.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 4+ years wait staff experience required.
• Must be able to write and speak English fluently.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS software a plus.
• Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
