Front Counter Sales

Smallcakes East Cobb in Marietta, GA is looking for one front counter sales to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 4475 Roswell Road Suite 1550. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Shifts will be daytime shifts but flexibility to work the occasional night and weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing premier customer service, including greeting them enthusiastically and responding to questions
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
• Taking and filling special orders for customers
• Icing/Decorating Cupcakes
• Ability to utilize a credit card machine, handle cash and a cash register to check out customer orders
• Finishing products such as filling or icing cupcakes, cakes, ice cream and cookies
• Packaging, labeling and pricing products for self-service
• Maintaining and filling bakery trays, display cases and ingredient bins
• Unloading, organizing and restocking supplies
• Following sanitation and safety guidelines
• Assisting in cleaning duties
• Ensuring the storefront maintains a clean polished look
• Assisting in other duties, as assigned

• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
• Able to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service
• Able to interpret, understand and follow instructions
• Experience with customer service
• Able to work well with others as a team member
• Previous work experience in a restaurant setting
• Exhibit a passion for serving people
