Diesel Technician

**Description** Perform preventive maintenance on yard trucks. Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including wiring and battery systems. Conduct computer and emission system repairs. Execute welding and fabrication tasks as needed. Repair and maintain air brake systems. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE. Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager. **Skills** Diesel, Electrical, hydraulics, Preventive maintenance, schematic, diagnosis **Top Skills Details** Diesel,Electrical,hydraulics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or related field. Welding experience and familiarity with DPF/DEF systems. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Basic computer skills for diagnostics and record-keeping. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. DOT/Medical card certification. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, climbing, kneeling). Must own a complete set of quality hand tools (preferred). **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Savannah, GA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $43860.00 - $72800.00/yr.
