**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
+ Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
+ Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
+ Complete required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
+ Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.
+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
