Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Position Summary
New Generation Autism & Behavioral Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership for our growing autism and behavioral health organization. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), training caregivers, and ensuring high-quality services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental or behavioral challenges.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to help build a growing organization focused on providing exceptional autism and behavioral support services throughout Metro Atlanta.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations.
- Develop individualized ABA treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Monitor client progress and make treatment recommendations as needed.
- Review data and adjust treatment goals appropriately.
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical standards.
Supervision
- Provide supervision and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Conduct competency assessments and performance evaluations.
- Ensure required supervision requirements are maintained.
- Provide ongoing clinical support and coaching to staff.
Parent and Caregiver Training
- Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions.
- Develop behavior support strategies for home and community environments.
- Collaborate with families to improve treatment outcomes.
Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with schools, educators, therapists, physicians, and other providers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings when appropriate.
- Support transition planning and school-based behavioral interventions.
Program Development
- Assist in developing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
- Support Medicaid and insurance compliance requirements.
- Help establish quality assurance measures and best practices.
- Assist with staff recruitment and onboarding as the organization grows.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Complete treatment plans, progress reports, supervision notes, and assessments.
- Ensure documentation meets Medicaid and payer requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities.
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Experience supervising direct service staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of BCBA experience.
- Georgia Medicaid experience.
- Experience with insurance authorization and documentation requirements.
- Experience supervising RBTs.
- Experience in school-based settings.
- Experience launching or growing an ABA program.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout client homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and interact with clients during sessions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
