Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and establish the sterile field for each procedure.
- Pass instruments, towels, and supplies to the surgical team; maintain accurate counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
- Assist the surgeon and team during procedures, including passing instruments, maintaining visibility, and anticipating needs.
- Adhere to sterile technique, draping, positioning, and specimen handling per protocol.
- Support room turnover, equipment functionality checks, and intraoperative instrumentation care.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience within the specialty, with heavy exposure to gynecologic, plastic surgery, and prostate biopsy procedures.
- Certification requirements: BLS (American Heart Association) and NBSTSA or NCCT surgical technology credentials.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hospital setting and support a high-demand surgical schedule.
