Objective:
The primary objective is to provide comprehensive revenue cycle management support, execute front-end revenue cycle processes, research compliance and billing regulations, and manage the overall client relationship. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, insurance verification, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and payment posting. This role ensures timely and accurate reimbursement in accordance with regulatory guidelines and payer requirements.
Primary Duties:
· Client Account Management:
o Management Support
o Research Support and Recommendations
o Reviewing industry standards and upcoming changes that impact Client billing
· Front-End Revenue Cycle Services:
o Insurance Eligibility and Patient OOP Estimates
o Prior Authorizations
o Program Enrollment Issues
o Front-End Denial Management
· Research denial reasons include dates of admission to provide root cause analysis for the denial.
o Patient billing support services
· Charge Reconciliation:
o Support charge reconciliation in cases where automated billing logic is not possible.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3–5+ years of revenue cycle management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
· Strong knowledge of billing regulations, coding guidelines (CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS), and payer rules.
· Experience with EHR/PM systems and claims management platforms.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Key Skills:
· Certification in medical billing/coding or revenue cycle (e.g., CRCR, CPC, CPB, CHFP).
· Experience with denial management programs and root-cause analysis.
· Data analysis and reporting skills for performance tracking.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve disputes
· Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines
· Prioritizes tasks effectively and demonstrates good judgement
· Computer proficiency and knowledge of relevant software
